1. Who we are

WHAT'S NEXT DIGITAL LTD (What's Next Digital), company number NI688335, registered office 20c Balliniska Road, Springtown Industrial Estate, Derry, United Kingdom, BT48 0NA, is the data controller for personal information collected through this website, operating from Northern Ireland, GB. 2. What data we collect

  • Form submissions: the details you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, and any message.
  • Busywork Score answers: if you complete the score and ask for your action list, the answers you gave and your score, stored with your submission so we can send you the right list.
  • Marketing consent: whether you opted in to email updates, and when.
  • Website usage: limited, aggregate figures such as pages visited and device type, collected by cookieless analytics that does not identify you individually.

3. How we use your data

  • Respond to your enquiry and provide the information or service you asked for.
  • Send your Busywork Score action list and occasional practical tips by email, only where you have opted in. Every one of those emails includes a way to unsubscribe.
  • Understand and improve how the website is used.
  • Meet our legal obligations.

We never sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Legal basis for processing

  • Legitimate interests: to respond to enquiries and run our business.
  • Consent: where you have opted in to marketing email. You can withdraw it at any time.
  • Contract: to provide a service you have asked us to deliver.
  • Legal obligation: where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep form submissions for up to 24 months from the date you contact us, after which they are deleted automatically. You can ask us to erase your data sooner at any time. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.

If you book a call, a record of that booking is also held by Cal.com for as long as we keep an account with them, and by our email and calendar provider as part of the calendar entry. Deleting a booking from our systems does not remove it from your own calendar. Ask us and we will delete the booking record on our side and confirm when it is done.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email sean@whatsnextdigital.xyz. We respond within one month.

7. Processors we use

We use a small number of trusted providers to run this site and respond to you. Each only processes your data to provide its service:

  • Supabase: secure database that stores your form submission.
  • Resend: sends email on our behalf: the notification we receive when you make an enquiry and, if you ask for it, your Busywork Score action list and occasional tips.
  • Vercel: hosts the website and provides cookieless, aggregate analytics.
  • Cal.com: runs the booking page where you pick a time. If you book, it receives your name, email address, time zone and anything you write in the booking form, and it sends your confirmation and reminders.

8. Where your data is processed

Some of the providers above are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where your data is transferred outside the UK, that transfer is covered by the UK government's adequacy regulations for the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or by standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum, which are the safeguards UK data protection law requires. You can ask us for details of the safeguards that apply to any particular provider.

9. Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary for the site to work, and our analytics is cookieless. Because nothing non-essential is set, there is no cookie banner. If we ever add something that does set a non-essential cookie, it will stay off until you accept it on a banner, with an equally easy way to refuse. See our cookie policy for the full list.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to your data protection authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the last revision.
